A license holder or person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted by the executive commissioner under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty, to be imposed by a district court, of not more than $1,000 for each day of violation. All penalties collected under this section shall be deposited to the credit of the General Revenue Fund. Added by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 14, Sec. 115, eff. Sept. 1, 1991. Amended by:
