View on source(a)The board may request that the attorney general bring an action to prohibit a person from engaging in an act or practice and to order compliance with this chapter if the board determines, after a complaint or by other means, that the act or practice violates this chapter or an order made under this chapter.
(b)The action may be brought in the district court of a county in which:
(1)the defendant resides;
(2)the defendant has done business;
(3)the principal place of business of the defendant is located; or
(4)the transaction occurred.
