(a)A county may donate and convey land to the state in consideration of the establishment of a public health hospital by the executive commissioner.
(b)The commissioners court of the county may determine the desirability, manner, and form of the donation and conveyance.
(c)This section does not authorize the commissioners court of a county to convey land donated or granted for educational purposes to the county in any manner other than that directed by law. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989. Amended by:
