(a)A public health hospital may not discriminate against a patient.
(b)Each patient is entitled to equal facilities, attention, and treatment. However, a public health hospital may provide different care and treatment of patients because of differences in the condition of the individual patients. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
