(a)The medical advisory board is administratively attached to the department.
(b)The department:
(1)shall provide administrative support for the medical advisory board and panels of the medical advisory board; and
(2)may collect and maintain the individual medical records necessary for use by the medical advisory board and the panels under this section from a physician, hospital, or other health care provider. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 9, eff. Sept. 1, 1995. Amended by:
