(a)A fee for services rendered by the day-care center may not be charged for a child who is eligible for state assistance under the aid to families with dependent children program.

(b)A fee that is scaled to family income for services rendered by the day-care program may be charged for a child who is not eligible for state assistance under the aid to families with dependent children program. Added by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 717, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987. Amended by:
