In this chapter:

(1)"Commissioner" means the commissioner of agriculture. (1-a) "Department" means the Department of Agriculture.

(2)"Executive commissioner" means the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission.

(3)"Supplemental nutrition assistance program" and "SNAP" mean the program operated pursuant to 7 U.S.C. Section 2011 et seq. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 963 (H.B. 4062), Sec. 5, eff. June 15, 2007. Amended by:
