(a)If after an investigation the commission determines that a family with a dependent child is needy and that the child resides with the family, the commission shall provide financial assistance and services for the support of the family.
(b)The commission shall formulate policies for studying and improving the child's home conditions and shall plan services for the protection of the child and for the child's health and educational needs.
(c)Repealed by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1, Sec. 4.465(a)(29), eff. April 2, 2015.
(d)The commission shall develop a plan for the coordination of the services provided for dependent children under this chapter and other child welfare services provided by the state. Acts 1979, 66th Leg., p. 2344, ch. 842, art. 1, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1979. Amended by:
