(a)The child support division in the Montague County Probation Department shall provide assistance to the district clerk in collecting child or spousal support payments. The division shall also assist in the enforcement of orders relating to the possession of or access to a child and may initiate contempt proceedings to enforce an order relating to the support and conservator orders.
