View on source(a)In addition to the jurisdiction provided by Section 25.0003 and other law, a county court at law in Taylor County has concurrent jurisdiction with the county court in the trial of cases involving insanity and approval of applications for admission to state hospitals and special schools if admission is by application.

(d)The judge of a county court at law shall be paid an annual salary that is not less than the salary paid the county judge. The salary shall be paid out of the county treasury.
