View on source(a)In addition to the jurisdiction provided by Section 25.0003 and other law, a county court at law in Randall County has concurrent jurisdiction with the district court in:
(1)family law cases and proceedings;
(2)cases and proceedings involving justiciable controversies and differences between spouses, or between parents, or between parent and child, or between any of these and third persons;
(3)civil cases in which the amount in controversy is within the limits prescribed by Section 25.0003(c)(1); and
(4)felony cases to conduct arraignments, conduct pretrial hearings, and accept pleas in uncontested matters. (a-1) to (a-3) Repealed by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., 1st C.S., ch. 29, Sec. 4, eff. Oct. 18, 1989.
