View on source(a)Except as provided by Subsection (b), a candidate's name shall be omitted from the ballot if the candidate withdraws, dies, or is declared ineligible on or before the 74th day before election day.
(b)The name of a deceased candidate may not be omitted if:
(1)the decedent was the incumbent in the office for which the decedent was a candidate; or
