(a)The board is authorized to adopt rules implementing the provisions of this subchapter.

(b)In adopting rules regarding the recommended core curriculum developed under Section 61.822, the board shall appoint a committee to advise the board under Section 2001.031, Government Code. Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1016, Sec. 1, eff. June 19, 1997. Amended by:
