View on source(a)In recommending, making, or confirming appointments to the board, the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the house of representatives, and senate shall ensure that each appointee has the background and experience suitable for performing the statutory responsibilities of a member of the board.
(b)Appointments to the board shall be made without regard to the race, color, disability, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointees.
