View on sourceA student is entitled to pay the fees and charges required of Texas residents without regard to the length of time the student has resided in Texas if the student:
(1)holds a competitive academic scholarship or stipend;
(2)is accepted in a clinical and biomedical research training program designed to lead to both doctor of medicine and doctor of philosophy degrees; and
(3)is either a nonresident or a citizen of a country other than the United States of America. Transferred and redesignated from Education Code, Section 54.065 by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 359 (S.B. 32), Sec. 1, eff. January 1, 2012.
