An election under this chapter for voter approval of an agreement entered by the board of trustees shall be held on a Tuesday or Saturday not more than 45 days after the date of the agreement. Section 41.001, Election Code, does not apply to the election. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff. May 30, 1995.
