View on sourceThe organization and control of the university are vested in the board of regents of the University of Houston. With respect to this university, the board of regents has all the rights, powers, and duties that it has with respect to the organization and control of the University of Houston, except as otherwise provided by this Act. However, the University of Houston at Clear Lake City shall be maintained as a separate and distinct institution of higher education.
