A person required to register under this chapter shall comply with a request for a DNA specimen made by a law enforcement agency under Section 411.1473, Government Code. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 444, Sec. 5(b); Subsec. (a) amended by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 347, Sec. 10, eff. Sept. 1, 2003. Reenacted and amended by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 1008 (H.B. 867), Sec. 1.01, eff. September 1, 2005.
