View on source(a)An official described by Article 18A.202(b)(3) may give oral or written consent to the interception of communications under this subchapter to provide evidence of the commission of a felony, or of a threat, attempt, or conspiracy to commit a felony, in an immediate life-threatening situation.
(b)Oral or written consent given under this subchapter expires on the earlier of:
(1)48 hours after the grant of consent; or
(2)the conclusion of the emergency justifying the interception.
