(a)Except as agreed by the parties, the arbitration tribunal, at the request of a party, may order a party to take an interim measure of protection that the tribunal considers necessary concerning the subject matter of the dispute.
(b)The arbitration tribunal may require a party to provide appropriate security in connection with the interim measure ordered.
