In this chapter:
(1)"Acquire" means an act to:
(A)possess property;
(B)prevent another person from using that person's property or dictate the terms of use of that property;
(C)bring about or receive the transfer of any interest in property, whether to oneself or to another person; or
(D)secure performance of a service. (1-a) "Attorney general" means the attorney general of Texas or any assistant attorney general acting under the direction of the attorney general of Texas.
