(a)If termination of a filing entity's existence is required, the secretary of state shall:
(1)issue a certificate of termination; and
(2)deliver a certificate of termination by regular or certified mail to the filing entity at its registered office or principal place of business.
(b)The certificate of termination must state:
(1)that the filing entity has been involuntarily terminated; and
(2)the date and cause of the termination.
