§ 622.002 — ACTS CONSTITUTING CONDUCTING SWEEPSTAKES

BC § 622.002Title 13. CONTESTS AND OTHER PROMOTIONS · Ch. 622. SWEEPSTAKES · Art. A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

For purposes of this chapter, a person conducts a sweepstakes if the person distributes material that:

(1)promotes a sweepstakes;

(2)describes one or more sweepstakes prizes;

(3)states one or more sweepstakes rules;

(4)includes a current or future opportunity to enter a sweepstakes; or

(5)provides a method for the recipient of the material to obtain additional information about a sweepstakes.
