Members of the council must be Texas residents and have knowledge or expertise in one or more of the following areas:

(1)artificial intelligence systems;

(2)data privacy and security;

(3)ethics in technology or law;

(4)public policy and regulation;

(5)risk management related to artificial intelligence systems;
