§ 5.61 — TRAINING PROGRAM ON OPIOID-RELATED DRUG OVERDOSE

(a)In this section, "opioid antagonist" and "opioid-related drug overdose" have the meanings assigned by Section 483.101, Health and Safety Code.

(b)The commission shall develop a training program that provides training on:

(1)the signs and symptoms of an opioid-related drug overdose; and

(2)the administration of an opioid antagonist.

(c)The commission may make the training available online.
