§ 7.30 — Holmes County

View on sourceThe boundary lines of Holmes County are as follows: Beginning on the Alabama state line where it is intersected by the line dividing centrally range eighteen, west: thence south on the section lines to the line dividing townships two and three, north, in range eighteen, west; thence east on said township line to the thread of the Choctawhatchee River; thence up the thread of said river to a point where said river is intersected by the township line between townships four and five north; thence east on said township line to the northwest corner of section four, township four north, range fifteen west; thence south one mile on section line to the southwest corner of section four, township four north, range fifteen west; thence east one mile to the southeast corner of section four, township four north, range fifteen west; thence south on section lines two miles to the southwest corner of section fifteen, township four north, range fifteen west; thence east on section lines to the thread of Holmes Creek; thence northward up the thread of Holmes Creek to a point where said creek crosses the Alabama line; thence west on said state line to the place of beginning.
