§ 27.13 — Completion of compromise

View on sourceThe state attorney shall, on agreeing to any compromise or settlement, report the same to the Department of Financial Services for its approval; and, on its approving such compromise or settlement, the state attorney, on a compliance with the terms of such compromise or settlement shall give a receipt to the collector of revenue, sheriff or other officer, or the sureties on their bonds, or to the legal representatives, which receipt shall be a discharge from all judgments, claims or demands of the state against such collector of revenue or other officer, or the sureties on their bonds.
