§ 216.031 — Target budget request

Either chair of a legislative appropriations committee, or the Executive Office of the Governor for state agencies, may require the agency or the Chief Justice to address major issues separate from those outlined in s. 216.023, this section, and s. 216.043 for inclusion in the requests of the agency or of the judicial branch. The issues shall be submitted to the agency no later e Legislature shall review the alternatives during the next regular session.

(4)The Legislature shall review the regulatory fee structure for all businesses and professions at least once every 5 years. The schedule for such review may be included in the legislative budget instructions developed pursuant to the requirements of s. 216.023.
