§ 20.165 — Department of Business and Professional Regulation

View on sourceThere is created a Department of Business and Professional Regulation.(1) The head of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation is the Secretary of Business and Professional Regulation. The secretary shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate. The secretary shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
(2)The following divisions of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation are established:(a) Division of Administration.
(b)Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.
(c)Division of Certified Public Accounting.1. The director of the division shall be appointed by the secretary of the department, subject to approval by a majority of the Board of Accountancy. 2. The offices of the division shall be located in Gainesville.
(d)Division of Drugs, Devices, and Cosmetics.
