9-471.01. Dates of signatures on petition; time limitation for validity of signatures A. Each person signing a petition for the annexation of territory to a city or town shall, at the time he signs, write upon the petition the date on which he signs the petition. B. A signature on a petition for annexation shall not be valid if the petition has not been filed or accepted for filing within two years after the date the signature was placed on the petition.
