Illegal use of name; classification No person shall use the name "building and loan company", "building and loan association", "savings and loan company", or "savings and loan association" unless complying with the provisions of this title. A person using a name embodying any combination of the words "building and loan association" or "savings and loan association", or acting as agent for that person, is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor, unless complying with the provisions of this title.
