5-565.01. Sale to persons using state issued electronic benefits transfer cards; violation; classification A. It is unlawful for a licensed agent to sell a lottery ticket or share to a person who uses either a public assistance voucher issued by any public entity or an electronic benefits transfer card issued by the department of economic security to purchase the ticket or share. B. It is unlawful for a licensed agent to sell a lottery ticket or share during the same transaction in which a person uses either a public assistance voucher issued by any public entity or an electronic benefits transfer card issued by the department of economic security. C. A person who violates this section is guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor.
