5-564. Sale at unauthorized price or by unauthorized persons; violation; classification A. A person shall not sell a ticket or share at a price greater than that fixed by rule. A person other than a licensed lottery sales agent or any employee of an agent acting within the scope of his employment shall not sell lottery tickets or shares. This section does not prohibit a person from giving lottery tickets or shares to another person as a gift. B. A person who violates this section is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.
