3-3103. Assistant director for the office of agricultural safety The director shall appoint a person as assistant director for the office of agricultural safety who, at the time of appointment: 1. Has been employed in the agricultural safety or health profession for at least two years and is currently engaged in the broad practice of safety or health or one of its relevant specialties or holds a degree from an accredited college or university appropriate to the field of agricultural safety and health and has at least one year of experience in the broad practice of safety or one of its relevant specialties. 2. Is competent to deal with the planning, design and needs of agricultural operations as the use of such operations relates to the safe, convenient and economic performance of agricultural functions.
