3-2098. Suspension, revocation or wrongful closure; review or special action; compensation A. A meat processor, meat wholesaler or jobber or a slaughterer whose license is suspended or revoked, or whose place of business or any portion thereof is closed by order of the director may seek a special action or a review by a court of the action pursuant to section 12-348. B. If, as a result of the special action or review of the suspension, revocation or closure the finding is made that the suspension, revocation or closure by the director was in error, the meat processor, meat wholesaler or jobber or slaughterer affected shall receive an award from the state in an amount fixed by the court sufficient to provide compensation for losses suffered owing to the suspension, revocation or closure, in addition to any other awards that can be made pursuant to section 12-348.
