3-1424. Civil and criminal liability of person allowing stock to run at large within no-fence district The owner or person in charge of livestock, who recklessly allows or permits livestock to run at large within a no-fence district is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor, and in addition is liable for damages for any trespass as provided for the collection of damages by owners of land enclosed within lawful fences.
