3-1341. Transportation of livestock by person without certificate of inspection, validated auction invoice or bill of sale; violation; classification A. Except as otherwise provided in this article, it is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to carry, transport or convey livestock by any conveyance without first having such livestock inspected and having in immediate possession the duplicate record of the inspection, an auction invoice issued pursuant to section 3-1336, a registration or identification card issued pursuant to section 3-1344 or 3-1345 or a bill of sale. B. A person violating this section is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
