11-933. Cooperative agreements between governing bodies; prohibitions; agreement with United States or others A. The governing body of a county or municipality may enter into a cooperative agreement with the United States, a state, the governing body of another county or municipality, or a private legal entity, within or without the state, for the establishment, development, maintenance or administration of a public park. B. A county or municipality entering into an agreement with the United States or a state for the establishment, development, maintenance or administration of a public park shall obtain permission in advance from any person or persons already using any multiple-use public domain or state land for another purpose. The county or municipality shall also reimburse such person or persons for all improvements on such land and for the vested rights of such person or persons in such property. An agreement entered into between the governing body of a county and the United States or an instrumentality thereof under the terms of this subsection for the establishment, development or maintenance of a public park may provide for supervision and control of the park by the United States or an agency or instrumentality thereof.
