§ 8250

Statute text

There is hereby created in the Health and Welfare Agency an Office of Special Services under the control of an executive officer appointed by and holding office at the pleasure of the Governor. The duties and functions of this office shall be to:

(a)Coordinate, oversee, direct and harmonize the work of the several offices, councils, commissions and boards in the Health and Welfare Agency.

(b)Assist such offices, councils, commissions and boards in meeting the goals and priorities each such unit has established.
