§ 16517.5

Statute text

(a)A social worker or probation officer acting as an officer of the court shall not make an out-of-home placement of a dependent or ward of the court pursuant to this chapter with any of the following:

(1)A relative of the social worker or probation officer responsible for the placement of the child.

(2)The spouse of a relative described in paragraph (1).
