View on leginfo.ca.govThe applicant or recipient may retain as a reserve for future contingencies any combination of personal or real property not to exceed a total value of one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200), or, in case of a married couple both receiving public assistance, two thousand dollars ($2,000). Any real property held as such reserve shall be valued at its net appraised market value.
