View on leginfo.ca.govUpon receipt of the estimates furnished pursuant to Section 76000, the board or boards of supervisors shall levy an assessment on the lands comprising the petitioning district, in the manner provided in Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 75370) of Part 8 of this division, and the board of the annexing district shall cause the obligations evidencing such indebtedness to be paid according to their tenor out of the money raised from such assessments.
