View on leginfo.ca.gov(a)“Account in an insured savings and loan association” means a savings account or mutual capital certificate of either of the following:
(1)A federal association.
(2)A savings association doing business in this state which is an “insured institution” as defined in Title IV of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C. Sec. 1724, et seq.).
