View on leginfo.ca.govIf the sale is made, the right to extract from the lands, such sodium chloride as is found by the commission to be necessary or convenient for the purposes herein specified, together with the right to occupy and use so much of the land and to employ such methods as may be necessary or convenient for extracting and processing the sodium chloride, shall be conveyed to the applicant by patent. The patent shall provide for reversion to the State of any rights so patented in the event that any sodium chloride so extracted is sold by the patentee or used for any purpose other than the performance by the patentee of the functions herein specified.
