View on leginfo.ca.govThe board shall provide technical assistance to counties and cities to assist in development, revision, amendment, and implementation of local city source reduction and recycling elements and countywide integrated waste management plans. Assistance rendered, at the discretion of the board, includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:
(a)Developing regulations for the implementation of the city source reduction and recycling elements and the countywide integrated waste management plans.
(b)Conducting waste characterization studies on a city, county, district, regional, or statewide basis, or any combination thereof.
