View on leginfo.ca.govEvery society authorized to do business in this State shall provide in its constitution or laws that additional payments or contributions shall be required of members by the action of the board of directors or corresponding body of the society whenever they deem it necessary or proper to effectuate the carrying on of the insurance business of the society.
