View on leginfo.ca.govA disability insurance policy may provide that services of a respiratory care practitioner certified pursuant to Chapter 8.3 (commencing with Section 3700) of the Division 2 of the Business and Professions Code, will be paid for pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory home care only if rendered pursuant to a method of treatment prescribed by a physician and surgeon.
