View on leginfo.ca.govIf a licensee or facility is required by law to deny employment or to terminate employment of any employee based on written notification from the state department that the employee has a prior criminal conviction or is determined unsuitable for employment under Section 1596.8897, the licensee or facility shall not incur civil liability or unemployment insurance liability as a result of that denial or termination.
