Statute text

(a)(1) The State Department of Public Health (department) shall prepare an annual report, in accordance with subdivision (c), concerning sexual orientation, gender identity, and variations in sex characteristics/intersex status (SOGISC) data collected by the department.

(2)It is the intent of the Legislature that the reports be utilized for the purpose of advancing both of the following objectives:

(A)Use of SOGISC data by different branches of the department in order to identify and address disparities in health outcomes.
