View on leginfo.ca.gov(a)Each new or renewal application for a license for a psychiatric health facility shall be accompanied by a fee credited to the State Department of Health Care Services for its costs incurred in the review of psychiatric health facility programs, in connection with the licensing of these facilities. The amount of the fees shall be determined and collected by the State Department of Health Care Services, but the total amount of the fees collected shall not exceed the actual costs of licensure and review of psychiatric health facility programs, including, but not limited to, the costs of processing the application, inspection costs, and other related costs.
(b)New or renewal licensure application fees for psychiatric health facilities shall be collected by the State Department of Health Care Services.
(c)The annual fees shall be waived for any psychiatric health facility conducted, maintained, or operated by this state or any state department, authority, bureau, commission, or officer, or by the Regents of the University of California, or by a local hospital district, city, county, or city and county.
